Statement of Faith

We believe in all scriptures of the Old and New Testament as plenary, verbally inspired by God and inherent in the original writings. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

We believe God the Father is eternally existent, the creator of the heavens and earth; existing as three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. They are one in nature, attributes, power, and glory. (Genesis 1:26; Proverbs 30:4; Mark 12:29; St. Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; St. John 1:1-4,18; Acts 5:3,4; I Timothy 3:16; I John 5:7)

We believe in holiness, and as believers in Christ, we must study and strive for perfection in the Word of God (1Peter 1:15-16; Leviticus 20:7; St. Matthew 5:48; II Corinthians 7:1; II Timothy 2:15)

We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and must be born again by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to receive eternal, everlasting life. (Genesis 3:1-6; Romans 1:18,32, 3:10-19, 5:12,19)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, and who so believeth in Him is saved by grace through faith. (Acts 19:39, 16:31; Romans 3:21-28; Ephesians 2:89-10; Titus 3:3-8; I Corinthians 15:1-4)

We believe that when one has taken a stand to walk with the Lord, they must depart from sin, separating from the practices and influences of the world which hinders their growth in Christ. (Romans 6:1-14, 12:1; Galatians 5:16-25; James 4:4; I John 2:15-17; II Corinthians 6:14, 7:1; Colossians 3:1-7)

We believe that it is a privilege and responsibility of every believer to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to be a witness of his marvelous works and to teach others so they may also be saved. (St. Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; St. John 17:18, 20:21;II Corinthians 5:20)

We believe that baptism by immersion should be administered to believers only, signifying their belief in the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and their departure from sin to a new walk of life; baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (St. Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 8:36-39, 18:8; Romans 6:3-5; Colossians 2:12; I Corinthians 11:23-32)
